Chia Seeds have become all the rave in the past few years but back in college when I was looking for a natural way to hep boost my energy, I began making chia gels and they actually worked!
So today, I had a sweet tooth and decided to make a smoothie. First, I added frozen strawberries, then blueberries, almond milk, agave nectar and last but certainly not least CHIA SEEDS! I let the combination sit for about 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to begin their gelling process. But being impatient and thirsty, I ended up blending it a little early. Still tasted great and honestly, if you want a REAL chia gel, blending is not necessary at all.

Almond Milk – Low Fat & Great Source of Magnesium, Selenium, Manganese, and Vitamin E.
